I came across this e-paper about the future of shared spaces by Vitra.

Key aspects to consider when developing my hotel suit:
We will travel in different ways
Hygiene standards will be permanently increased
Many interactions can be transferred online, but not all
Social and environmental responsibility leads to more human-oriented

Interesting points raised here that I think would also be good post pandemic:
Guests seeing the same faces frequently could also be good from a wellbeing point of view. Creating familiarity and more of a sense of community
Outdoor seating as standard to provide a connection to nature and change of scenery

‘First and foremost, we care about the health and safety of our guests. And we care about their wellbeing while staying with us. As we implement the necessary corona rules, we also strive to continue to provide a place where guests can unwind, connect with others and still have a good time. Even more so, in these times of isolation and distancing it is important for us to create a place for social interaction – of course while adhering to the rules of the game.’ Claudia Abt, Design Director, citizenM

Interesting to note that the hotel chain only offers one room type.
Does one size really fit all?
